I don't have time for Bloom Day this month
I don't have time for a proper Bloom Day, anyway. I'm swamped.
But I ran down to the garden (literally) and shot pictures of the showiest things I could find. I don't think I have much more than this right now actually... besides the usual stuff.
Fuchsia fulgens

Nerine something

What is this again?

While I'm here, I might as well show you some pictures I took yesterday morning with my phone.
San Francisco woke up to a remarkable sky.

Bloom Day
This month, I took pictures for Bloom Day using the iPhone app Hipstamatic, "that brings back the look, feel, unpredictable beauty, and fun of plastic toy cameras from the past."
You must be sick of these pictures if you still follow me on Twitter. Still, my Hipstamatic infatuation grows. The app adds shadows, flattens color, and disrupts composition in small, seemingly random ways. A completely different mood results. Who can say it's any less accurate. Also note the rounded corners and scrapbook matte background, slightly askew. Too funny!
I labeled all the pictures (I think). If you want the name, just scroll over the picture.
