Five blocks in Berkeley

I find Berkeley intensely photogenic. And I'm not even talking about the people. I took all these pictures in the short distance between BART and the Berkeley Garden Party. Front yards are a mix of luxury and laxity. I tend to favor the neglected ones, but then I would. Some day I'll have a front yard too.

Berkley looks like a wonderfully funky place, at least from these photos. I enjoyed your previous post as well, a great garden to have a party in. Waffles are indeed genius, I think I'wll go toast one for breakfast.

What a wonderful tour! I adore that one green house! I love to get ideas from front yards...sometimes you see the most unusual things too!

Wow. The people in that white house are really into square hedges.

Nice little walkabout, Chuck. Some really cool stuff & some really scratch-your-head stuff. I love the old green cottage with the Rambler out front. That just looks like classic Americana to me. Thanks for sharing this with us.

The last few posts have been delicious. I liked the walk on the way too. I have always craved an Echium candicans.

Very nice photo tour of Berkeley front yards. I am inspired to incorporate more rocks into my garden. No, not lava rocks. I like the big boulders with succulents and such poking out.
