I haven't really loved a stairway walk since we did Golden Gate Heights and the tiled steps. Nevertheless, I persevere. These pictures are from two days ago, when I did Chapter 18, Upper Market.
Many of the streets here are named after planets.
It's late August, isn't it? If it's not, it almost is. Time to think about the end of summer. The Japanese anenomes can help with that.
And the blackberries.
All that's missing are Naked Ladies. I didn't see a single one.
Those are the Vulcan Steps. It's a street without a road lined with quiet cottages.
That's Grewia caffra to the left of the door and over the garage:
I have no idea what happened to this house.
And I think this is an odd solution to an odd problem.
But it does reference the local geography.
