And, finally, North Beach

After Point Bonita and Telegraph Hill, we spent some time in North Beach.

I used to live right near there. I loved that area, but it looks like a lot of the restaurants have changed. I remember that bookstore in the last picture. I miss San Francisco!

Hi Chuck, you and your camera have been having a grand old time it appears. The shots overlooking the buildings with the church dual steeples sent a hook, line and sinker into my cerebrum. There is a lushness to that area in the plantings and the businesses. They are on the female form theme, aren't they? The tunnel was a bit scary and the suspension bridge was a nightmare although the lighthouse was a marvel. Love seeing your garden look so unthirsty too. I have that Phacelia, a recent purchase from my favorite nursery, and am collecting Cupheas from the same place. Wish you were going to the spring fling.

Love your pictures of The City! We're going to spend the weekend there pretty soon. Can't wait, love to visit there. I kind of miss being close enough for easy day trips.
