There will be a nationwide political demonstration this Saturday to protest the outcome of Proposition 8 in California, and I'm going to attend.
I'm not going to bash Mormons or Catholics or Blacks or any other group of people. I understand that Americans have different opinions on the subject of same-sex marriage, and I respect that. At the same time, this is my life. I just got married and that means a great deal to me. I'm not about to let 52% of California knock it down without a fight.

ADDED: The rally, here.

Hi Chuck, I don't blame you at all and hope to see and probably will see a huge turn out.

Go get 'em!
Dear ChuckB
You will always be married! This prop WILL be overturned!
I have been at many of the most beautiful weddings lately, and nothing can change what happened in those rooms.
My heart is with you and your husband, and I will be fighting right along with you, even though I'm in Los Angeles...
I hope the demonstration is a rousing success...this has GOT to be overturned!
I agree wholeheartedly... I hope that the demonstration is overwhelming in number, and is successful enough to make that 52% of Californians (and those elsewhere) rethink their stance on this issue.
