


I took a walk in Edgewood Park today.

I saw lots of Clarkia


and Calochortus.



Two species of Calochortus, in fact.


And here and there some coyote mint (Monardella villosa)

As you can see, the grasses have dried out for summer.

In the woods that stay green all year, lizards

Mimulus

Toxicodendron

and yet more Clarkia.

Elsewhere, human life goes on.
