"Sir David Attenborough gets a lot of hate mail because he doesn't give credit to God in his documentaries."

Telling the magazine that he was asked why he did not give "credit" to God, Attenborough added: "They always mean beautiful things like hummingbirds. I always reply by saying that I think of a little child in east Africa with a worm burrowing through his eyeball. The worm cannot live in any other way, except by burrowing through eyeballs. I find that hard to reconcile with the notion of a divine and benevolent creator."

I like that Obama mentioned "non believers" in his inaugural speech!

I appreciated that too, although I am not sure if I'm a non-believer or not!

I believe that there's a Monty Python version of "All things Bright and Beautiful"...

And as for your comment above, I tend to calculate my percentages on any given day, as for instance: 85% atheist, 10% agnostic, 5% Buddhist (but since I'm not doing any of the ehavy lifting for that, does it count at all?).
