Winter in retreat at Filoli today

It's hard to get sick of daffodils. Just when you think they might outlast their welcome, they are gone.

Gorgeous!!! I especially love the sweet tulips contrasted with the dormant mounds of lavender. What a lovely place, that's near Stanford U?

Beautiful photos of spring at Filoli! Those camellias and the magnolia WOW! Do tulips and daffodils need to be artifically chilled to bloom in the bay area?
