The vegetable garden looked spiffy too.
The Angelica stricta 'Pupurea' some of us got from Annie's Annuals has its origin in this garden. It was kinda neat to see it there.
I guess with time, and allowed to self sow, it forms quite the purple carpet.
Views from the tip of peninsula beyond the Botanical Garden offer more views of the coast.

The painted bamboo poles with the purple angelica are nice. I may need to make some. It would be easier to borrow them though.
That is a lovely garden. I so enjoy your road trips and walks. Thanks for taking the trouble to share. I hope that the trip provided a good break from studying.
The heath/heather section's looking pretty awesome!
