Just a few pictures I took in Ferndale, a nice place to stop and stretch your legs after a long drive through the Lost Coast. Ferndale is 158 years old.
There has to be a painter in Ferndale with the patience of a saint or a need to make work.
I googled Petrolia to look at the map and see what these roads were like that you were driving on. Visually some of them reminded me of the narrow, non painted cause they is too narrow for two lanes, winding roads in the middle of no where we have in these hills. On a google map they looked much the same. Ghost roads. Well done on taking the road less traveled.
What beautiful buildings. It just occurred to me that I have no idea what your final destination is. I'll have to read back through your road trip posts and see where you are headed.

Buildings don't seem to be built like that any more. I like Ferndale. Cute town and we usually take that Lost Coast road to Honeydew.
