There has been a little gardening here, although Oxalis pes-caprae has overtaken the beds. When the park does get developed, I assume all of the soil will have to go.

I'd get rid of most of the trees too. Although some are worth keeping.

Interestingly, Gaillardia has escaped the beds and seems to be holding its own in the general landscape.


That's encouraging, isn't it?

God I hate Oxalis. Bane of my backyard.
Not much consolation, but oxalis is edible. Kinda lemony.
Also, bands used to have generator shows in that park. I'm not sure if they still happen, but they were always really fun.
