I wasn't expecting an art exhibit when I dropped by the Ruth Bancroft Garden today.

That was just a sample. The works are for sale, and sales help to support the Garden.

The Garden's other sculptures are not for sale:

J'adore this pairing of pale agave and purple Alternanthera.

I love this.

Thank you for including so many pictures of the true garden art...the plants! I am such a hum-bug when it comes to garden "art" - I just don't get it. Aren't the plants enough!?!

Love the 'dreaming city' head.

I wish I could afford to buy some art to support the garden and the artist or commission my own. Love the silver lizard lady in the evening dress and the tin man. I will just have to keep making my own yard art.

Wonderful photos! The purple setacrease with blue agaves was striking. And so many dyckias in bloom, but my camera alas didn't always cooperate.
