Approaching Maui over Paia, to your left is Maliko Gulch and the lower portions of Haiku. After flying through the isthmus that creates the valley isle and turning the plane around to land, it looks to be the new subdivision of homes of Wailuku Country Ranches, former macadamia nut orchards.
