However, after nine years there I did discover the one rule that consistently applied -- in Pacific Heights and similar neighborhoods -- was that the larger and/or more expensive vehicle was consideredAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8759330860236504280.post-82096909376216943512008-05-14T18:23:00.000-07:002008-05-14T18:23:00.000-07:00Indecision at a four way stop sign sounds better t...Indecision at a four way stop sign sounds better than the breakdown of traffic rules that was happening on Maui before I left. I missed the memo that was put out that said left hand turns had the right of way over a right hand turn at an intersection. My warning to visiting company if they drove was the right of way has broken down on Maui and to be careful.Christopher C. Do you really scream, even inside the car, at driver's who aren't 100 % on top of things all the time? But I like the hobbit explanation best, so let's go with that one. I've been assuming that people who don't go when they should at intersections are assuming that I am one of the all-too-common lousy drivers nowadays who will not yield to their rightful right-of-way and will, in fact, lean out my window and scream obscenities at them as I'm driving past if they dare to try to go before me, whether it's their right or not.

But I live in the Midwest,Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
