Chuck...your blooming beauties are indeed wonderful! Each presented flower was perfect and then there was that wonderful bee on the passionflower! Lovely! gail
Your photos show that rules can be broken - the flowers glow in the strong sunlight, and the dark shadows cast them into stark relief. I love your Gallardia/Salvia combo. Together they make a fabulous symphony in red, perfectly complementing each other and make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Gorgeous blooms today Chuck. I love the Passionflower with the bee happily sipping away. :)
ReplyDeleteI posted a dill picture also. Don't you just love the look of that plant? Also love that Tweedia/Oxypetalum. That is the best blue.

ReplyDeleteLoved the dill - a whole new angle on it. And quality of light in your photos - gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love that top photo. Your Bloom Day pics are inspired this month. It's good to see gaillardia blooming in your garden too.

ReplyDeleteSo many great photos and the colors are so vibrant. I really love the red dahlia.
ReplyDeleteThere for a minute I thought you were going to do a red/yellow theme. Glad to see you have the gaillardia anywho. All wonderful shots, too.

A most excellent showing of blooms this July!
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely blooms! Looks like a lot of things that won't grow here. I like how you seemed to group the photos so that like colors were together.
