This is an Icheneumon wasp. It may eat "wood wasps, horntail wasps (sawflies), bollworms, armyworms, wood borers, beetle larvae and[/or] moth larvae."

ReplyDeleteGood camera work. That takes a steady hand and major patience of which I have neither. I suppose I could try to get mellow in one spot in the garden with a tripod set up.
ReplyDeleteThe camera comes with "image stabilization" whatever that is. Also, for things like this I take 20 pictures at a time...and only show you the good ones.
