My favorites are the last three. I love the angle across the deck with the fallen hardenbergia flowers. And the red stems about to leaf out against the fence - what is that?
The Sunday garden is looking particularly lush and green. It must be the light quality of the coming rain. Yep, your Narcissus are years ahead of Bulbarella's. This week's warm 60/40 may encorage things.
Things are looking really nice there. I guess its still to cold here to have much going on. Things are starting to grow though so soon hopefully there will be flowers again(-: I do have some daffodils and the flowering quince is blooming now.(-:
Hey there! I just stumbled upon your blog as I was searching SF garden blogs via Blotanical. I love it! Great photos, and if that's your garden in this post, it's looking so lush! I will be adding a link to your blog on mine, which is www.TilthyRich.com.
I am awfully fond of the Narcissus, but I think the last picture of the purple petal shower is the best.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great out there!
ReplyDeleteI love the purple flower petals best too, but I also find it inspiring how you use screens to define your space. Nice photos!

ReplyDeleteHydrangea petiolaris. Sometimes I label the picture file in Flickr so you can move your cursor over the picture to get the name.
ReplyDeleteLoving the first and last photos in particular. Pretty!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful garden shots. I cant wait to see blooms!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you have daffodils! Here in the frozen tundra we'll have to wait at least two more months. Thanks for spreading Spring a bit early!
